Ex relationship goals! Andrew Garfield declares himself Emma Stone's 'biggest fan' saying it has 'been bliss' to see his former girlfriend succeed 

Not only is he a contender to get an Oscar for Best Actor, this star is also in the running for the Best Ex Boyfriend of the Year award too.

Andrew Garfield has once again proven he is Hollywood's nice guy, gushing about ex-girlfriend Emma Stone.

Speaking on Variety's Little Gold Men Podcast on Thursday, the 33-year-old actor was full of praise for the La La Land actress.

The Silence actor made sure every woman listening swoon as he spoke of his ex.

He told the podcast: 'We care about each other so much, and that's a given, that's kind of this unconditional thing. There's so much love between us and so much respect.

'I'm her biggest fan as an artist. I'm constantly inspired by her work and I'm constantly inspired hoe she holds and handles herself. So for me, it's been bliss to be able to watch her success and watch her bloom into the actress that she is.'

The actor says sporting each other's endeavors is a two-way street.

'It's also been wonderful to have that kind of support for each other. It's nothing but a beautiful thing.'

The pair have been spotted together since leading to speculation that they may get back together, but neither has eve said if this is on the cards. 

Andrew also spoke on the podcast about the challenges of existing in Hollywood and being to being careful not to 'look for love in all the wrong places'.

Andrew said he stays grounded even through award season thanks to his friends.

I was overwhelmed that I had such sincere, authentic Hollywood friends. Which I don't think is a common occurrence. I had about seven or eight real, true anchors in that room and in the parties following. Emma of course is one, Claire Foy is another, Laura Dern, Eddie Redmayne, Jonah Hill.

'These are people that I actually love in a real, sincere way, and I believe they love me back. I was just struck with this deep gratitude.'
