'I’ll get an email saying, "I had sex with my husband with lights on."' Ashley Graham celebrates empowering other women as she poses half-naked in provocative V Magazine shoot

  • The 28-year-old said she hates being asked over and over again about being a plus-size model, but it's nice to be reminded she has changed lives
  • She added that it doesn't feel that brave to model lingerie or swimsuits

Ashley Graham shows plenty of skin in a shoot for the latest issue of V Magazine, modeling a bra and fishnets — as well as a barely-there dress — while offering her best sultry stare to the camera.

But the 28-year-old admitted in an interview with Chelsea Handler inside the magazine's pages that getting nearly naked for a shoot isn't really that scary compared to some other things she's done in her career.

Ashley also talked about how much she hates being asked about being a plus-size model after 17 years in the business, as well as her plans to have kids with her husband, Justin Ervin.

Sexy: Ashley Graham posed for Steven Klein in the new issue of V Magazine

Steal the show in Ashley's chainmail Balmain dress

Whoa.

Killer. Killer figure and a killer dress. Ashley Graham posed for a photo spread in Interview magazine wearing a gold chain-mail dress hot off the Balmain runway.

In typical Balmain fashion, the French label kept with their signature glitz and glam but traded in their over-the-top embroideries for slinky metals like this dress on Ashley.

The silhouette almost takes on a Grecian form if it weren't for the double thigh-high slits and side-boob revealing cut.

Sadly, we'll have to twiddle our thumbs a few more months till this dress will hit the racks as it hails from the Spring collection.

In the meantime, why don't you click through our carousel below to see if anything catches your eye the way this gilded number on Ashley caught ours.

Wow! She stripped down for the very sexy and revealing photoshoot

Though she has become somewhat of a poster child, Ashley is totally fed up with people asking her what it's like to be a plus-size model, a question she's now answered way too many times.

'I can't stand that question anymore,' she said. 'I mean, I've been doing this now for 17 years and I can't even tell you how many times I've spoken up about the label "plus-size".

'I don’t think women should be labeled at all. I think that it's completely divisive.

'But, for whatever reason, I am the one that has been given the opportunity to be on so many covers and to have a voice,' she went on. 'I don't take that lightly and I think that being the voice and face for so many women that haven't been represented— in fashion, or film, or TV—is encouraging, it's amazing.

So easy: She said it doesn't feel that brave to model lingerie or swimsuits

Challenges: She said it was harder to leave her agent and be without one for months

Nice wordsL The star said sometimes people thank her for giving them confidence

'Some days I forget that and then someone comes to me crying and says, "Because of you, I wore shorts today," or I’ll get an email that says, "I had sex with my husband with the lights on."

'At those moments, I'm like, Wow, you are changing people's lives, and you're doing it by just being yourself.'

But while she is giving women the confidence to show more skin no matter their size, Ashley herself no longer finds it nerve-wracking to flaunt her goods.

'You know, some people think it's brave to be in front of the camera in lingerie or a swimsuit. But that's nothing,' she said. 'One of the bravest moments for me was leaving an agent that I had been with for 10 years.

'I was agentless for about eight months and it was a very scary time of my life — I had no idea what I was going to do.'

Relax, guys: The 28-year-old also said she hates being asked about being a plus-size model

Things obviously worked out for her, though. Since then, she's booked countless magazine covers and campaigns, was the first plus-size model in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue — and on the cover, no less — and has launched three fashion lines, including her lingerie line, Addition Elle.

'I did it because I couldn’t find lingerie that would fit my 36DDD boobies,' she explained. 'Boobies, I can’t believe I just said boobies. Breasts!'

Her insistence on using the word 'breasts' might be a hint that the star plans to start a family soon.

She said that she and her husband decided that when they have kids, they would teach them the proper words for human anatomy, like vagina, penis, and breasts.

Stunner: Ashley also debuted a new campaign for Addition Elle lingerie

Saucy: In the ad images, the model can be seen striking a series of provocative poses

Meow: Ashley's new campaign showcases her Dark Beauty collection, which features a lot of fuchsia and black lace lingerie

And Ashley's V Magazine spread is not the only provocative shoot that the model has done recently.

Shortly after the magazine shoot was shared online, Ashley debuted a stunning new campaign for her latest collection of Addition Elle lingerie.

The images, which see her posing in a series of seductive poses, while wearing a set of fuchsia pink and black lace underwear, showcase Ashley's new Dark Beauty range.

This is not the first time she's designed for Addition Elle; she has both created and modeled her collections for the brand since 2013.

The beauty, who is an advocate of body confidence, was previously just a model for the brand; after five years of modeling for Addition Elle, she approached them to design her own line, according to Vogue.
