'That's the perk of being a director': Ben Affleck reveals his thrill over performing NINE HOURS of sex scenes with co-star Sienna Miller

They recently revealed they performed nine solid hours of sex scenes while filming Live By Night.

And Ben Affleck who wrote the screenplay and directed the movie, said that he was rather thrilled that he could keep shooting the scenes as he was the boss. 

In an interview shown on Good Morning Britain on Friday, Ben said: 'The best thing about being the director is you get to make the love scenes what you want.

'I can make out as if I really could go on for nine hours.' 

Sitting alongside him, Sienna took the blame for the story coming out in the first place, with Ben saying: 'She brings it up all the time.' 

Ben plays Joe Coughlin in the movie, the son of a Boston policeman, who falls in love with Sienna's character, Emma Gould, the mistress of the Robert Glenister's character, Albert White, who is the boss of an Irish gang of Boston.

She said: 'I find the love scenes funny.'

She previously told E! 'Ben and I are like brother and sister, thank God, so there was no awkwardness. There was just a lot of stupid giggling. He's very professional—I am not, but he is.

'In that environment it was a cool scene. There was a montage in the script saying we did it everywhere: in the car, in the bar...I was like: "That's an entire day of just love scenes! OK. How do we do this?"'

During the interview on Friday, the pair also commented on Donald Trump, criticising him for his tweet about Meryl Streep, in which he called her an 'overrated actress.'

Sienna said: 'I think as the President-Elect, he probably should not feel the need to react to everything on Twitter.'
