Jacksonville police have since revealed the teen found out on Friday morning that the woman who has raised her in Walterboro is not her mother. Gloria Williams, 51 (pictured left in a mugshot and right in an old sketch created by police) has been arrested and charged with kidnapping and interference with custody.

Rarely seen images of the Arab revolt during the First World War are to be auctioned off later on this month. The photographs give an insight into the British forces and their interaction with Mesopotamia, known today as Iraq, as they battled Germany's allies, the Turkish Ottoman Empire. The intimate images show the British forces (top right) interacting with the native population of Mesopotamia, such as children playing (bottom left). They were taken by Mounter Harry Druquer, of the Army Service Corps, who also documented the revolt in several diaries, such as a 1,000 mile trek to Damascus (top left) and the success after Baghdad was captured in March 1917 (bottom right). The diaries, which are also being auctioned off, and the photographs, are expected to be sold for £2,000.
