He might not be flying the plane, but it's always good to have an Ace on board.

Jessica Simpson and her husband Eric Johnson were spotted at LAX on Thursday.

The couple brought daughter Maxwell and son Ace as they jetted off for a family vacation together.

The 36-year-old looked her usual fashionable self in flared jeans so long they completely hid her presumable boots.

She matched them with dark plaid tweed jacket and white tee, and a large black purse to boot.

As skillful as she is gracious, the fashion designer managed to sign autographs for waiting fans without ever letting go of her daughter's hand. 

Her four-year-old meanwhile rocked her own style in a pink bird-themed sweater and white lace skirt, finishing her look in a snazzy pair of gold high-tops.
