Helena Bonham Carter flaunts her eclectic style as she wraps up in dolly coat while enjoying a sandwich in New York

She's been busy working on the latest all-female installment of the Ocean's Eleven franchise.

Despite her packed schedule, Helena Bonham Carter enjoyed a deserved bite out in the Big Apple as she fuelled up on a enticing sandwich in New York on Friday.

The 50-year-old actress displayed her kooky style as she strolled along the Manhattan sidewalk wrapped up in a black dolly coat while chowing down on a signature New York sub.

She continued her eccentric style as she teamed her calf-grazing jacket with leggings and quirky leather boots while taking a moment for lunch.

Attempting to cut the January chill, Helena placed a striking shaggy stole around her neck as she draped her tan satchel over her shoulder.

Helena kept her curly golden blonde locks in place with her black frame glasses as she soaked up the sights and sounds of the city, while holding a plastic carrier bag and water bottle in her hands.

The film star is based in London, where she lives with her two children, son Billy, 13, and daughter Nell, nine.

She shares her offspring with film-maker Tim Burton, from whom she split in 2014, though they're noted to enjoy an amicable relationship.

The actress is starring with Cate Blanchett, Sandra Bullock and Anne Hathaway in the big screen all-female reboot of Ocean's Eleven.

It has been claimed that Sandra will play the ex-con sister of George Clooney's character from the Ocean's trilogy, which kicked off in 2001, and was, in itself, a remake of the 1960 film of the same name.

George, who starred alongside Sandra in 2013's Gravity, is also a producer on the film with his Smokehouse Pictures company he runs with Grant Heslov.

They have kept mum on plot details, though a writer for The Hollywood Reporter Plot has said that the film will reportedly revolve around a heist at the Met Gala.

Ocean's Eight is set to hit theatres on June 8, 2018.
