That's puppy love! Kristin Chenoweth looks glam with new rescue dog Thunder in her purse as she jets out of LAX

She dazzles audiences on Broadway as one of the biggest names in musical theatre.

And Kristin Chenoweth made all the world a stage on Friday as she turned heads while jetting out of Los Angeles.

The 48-year-old actress and singer looked furry nice as she bundled up in a fuzzy hat and mittens, as she carried her pet pooch through LAX.

The diminutive beauty kept her new pup Thunder close to her heart, as he defied gravity by hitching a lift in a bag.

Kristin upped the glamour by adding giant frameless ski-style dark glasses which swamped her delicate features. 

The 4ft 11in tall Glee star added inches with platform slip-on sneakers.

Navy blue gym leggings showcased her slim physique, which she teamed with a cosy grey sweatshirt. 

Her blonde tresses were loose beneath her stylish headwear. 

The Tony and Emmy award-winning star adopted Thunder one week ago and they seem to have bonded closely already.

The toffee-coloured cutie was rescued by Saving Spot in West Hollywood, where Kristin found the puppy. 

She shared a video singing to Thunder, and seemed delighted by his response. 

'I think Thunder likes my voice (and my new @SteinwayAndSons )! #ThunderPup' she captioned her post. 

She's been busy filming comedy movie Class Rank alongside Bruce Dern, directed by Eric Stoltz.
