'We didn't kiss for a very long time': Jessica Biel reveals she took things slow with husband Justin Timberlake at start of their romance

They've now been married for more than four years.

But Jessica Biel, 34, and Justin Timberlake, 35, initially took their time when they were first starting to date.

Jessica dished to James Corden on the Thursday edition of his Late Late Show that the duo didn't have a standard courtship.

Not quite hot to trot: Jessica Biel, 34, and Justin Timberlake, 35, initially took their time when they were first starting to date

'We didn't kiss for a very long time because he was on tour, and we were talking on the phone, like normal pre-teens do,' shared the Total Recall actress.

But even though they didn't get physical immediately, Jessica still admitted that she was sure she had found 'the one.'

'I have this email that is really funny that I sent to my producing partner, Michelle, actually, and it's literally, like, "OK, I can't make that meeting so I have to cancel, also I know I will marry this man, you can't tell anybody but your husband."

She then got philosophical, stating 'I have no idea why I wrote that email, I don't know what he did that day, but I have this hilarious email.'

Jessica and the pop superstar tied the knot in October 2012, and the actress has now revealed that despite nearing their fifth wedding anniversary she has yet to find a single gap in the Can't Stop the Feeling hitmaker's skills.

Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday, the Stealth actress said: 'Literally every year we're married I'm looking for that thing that he really sucks at.'

Pragmatic: 'We didn't kiss for a very long time because he was on tour, and we were talking on the phone, like normal pre-teens do, shared the Total Recall actress (Justin pictured performing in 2008)

And it isn't just The Illusionist star who loves gushing about her significant other, as Justin previously said he had a 'new appreciation' for his wife after she gave birth to their 21-month-old son Silas.

He told Today in October: 'It changes everything. You literally wake up and look in the mirror and go, ''I have no idea what I'm doing!''

'It changes everything,' he repeated, before adding 'I would have never written a song like Can't Stop The Feeling [without having a child].'
