And Lucy Watson was keen to show off the fruits of her health labours last week as she stripped down to her bikini for a beach day in Barbados.

The reality star, 25, confidently displayed her enviably slender figure in a skimpy pink two-piece as she paddled and played in the crystal Carribbean sea with her equally toned boyfriend James Dunmore, 26.

Dressed in nothing but the barely-there swimwear, the brunette's impressively toned and trim physique was clear for all to see. 

The bikini top plunged into a low V at her chest to give a flash of her delicate cleavage, before securing around her back in a single string to show off plenty of her smooth, sun-kissed skin.

The E4 star was also confident to flaunt her pert derriere as she topped up her tan - matching the top with equally skimpy bottoms that cut daringly high at her rear.

Sporting nothing but navy printed swim shorts and a black cap, the reality star's impeccable gym-honed physique was clear for all to see as he fooled around with Lucy in the sea, before drawing in for a sweet hug on shore. 

The pair have been spending the Christmas and New Year period on the idyllic Caribbean island with James' family - welcoming 2017 at a luxurious beach party.

Posting a selfie with her man on Instagram, Lucy wrote to her followers as 2016 came to an end: 'happy new year!!! i love this one too much, be grateful for the people closest to you.' (sic) 

Clearly stronger than ever, the pair were both absent from the Made In Chelsea spin-off in the South of France last August - wanting to spend time alone and away from drama instead.

It was then announced in September that Lucy was leaving the E4 show that catapulted her to fame four years ago.

A spokesperson told MailOnline: 'After four amazing years on Made In Chelsea, Lucy feels that now is the right time to explore some other exciting opportunities and projects that she is passionate about.

'Being part of such a successful show has been an incredible experience for her, and she wishes everyone involved all the very best for the future.'

Her friend and co-star on the show Frankie Gaff then revealed the brunette was taking time away from the spotlight to concentrate on her relationship with James.

The Made in Chelsea star told BANG Showbiz: 'Lucy's not going to be in the next series. At the moment she's decided not to because she's loved up.'

Lucy and James have been dating since early 2015 after meeting on the London-based show - and have enjoyed a number of romantic holidays together since.

Showing off a sensational body as she strutted along the beach in her bikini, it is no wonder Lucy captured the attention of her curly-haired beau. 

Speaking to FEMAIL last year, Lucy revealed how she developed a passion for health and fitness over the past two years, explaining: 'I'm motivated by people around me and I just got to a point in my life where I needed a change.'

Before she added: 'I don't want to emulate anyone else's body. I just want mine to be toned and lean. I don't want to lose any weight or curves, just tone up what I already have.'

The star further revealed on Twitter in 2015 that switching up her diet to one of veganism has made a big difference to her health and figure.  

‘Yes lost a lot of weight since becoming vegan. Feel so much healthier though. And better for the animals’ she tweeted in May.

However after receiving backlash for being 'too skinny' and receiving concerns from fans about her health, Lucy hit back in a second message to justify her actions.

She wrote to her haters:‘I’m the healthiest I’ve ever been, the body shaming needs to stop…Some people are skinny, some people are fat. GAF.'
