It's been one year since Celine Dion's husband, Rene Angelil, who was also the singer's manager, died.

And on Saturday, the 48-year-old singer took to social media to pay tribute to her late love, who passed away at age 73 after a long battle with throat cancer.

To mark the first anniversary of Rene's death, Celine and her team shared a video montage on the Grammy-winner's Facebook page.

The succinct 1:30 video, which already received over 2 million views, begins with vintage footage of Rene as a child.

One dated black and white image showed an adorable naked Rene as a baby in a professional photograph.

Other images show Rene with his mother as a toddler and then later with his father and brother while growing up in Montreal.

In December 1994 they married in Montreal's Notre-Dame Basilica, which last year also became the venue for Rene's funeral.

It was, of course, Celine's first marriage, but her new husband's third, and the wedding was filmed for TV in Canada.

The couple had been married for 21 years when Rene died on January 14, 2016.

Two-days later, on January 16 (and what would have been her husband's 74th birthday), Celine lost her brother Daniel, 59, to cancer as well.

This past August, the five-time Grammy winner released her 26th studio album as a tribute to her late husband and toured around Europe and Canada to promote it.

On January 17 the highly decorated singer is set to return to her Las Vegas show, which celebrated its 1,000th show in October.
