Back in the gym! Ashley Graham kicks off 2017 with workout clip as she keeps her generous curves in check

She is a leading force in the body positive movement.

And on Saturday morning, Ashley Graham proved she's a role model as the plus-size stunner documented her early morning sweat session for her 3m Instagram followers.

The 28-year-old catwalker is back from a well deserved, one-month vacation and seemed to be starting 2017 on the right foot with a new workout routine at NYC's Dogpound gym.

Drop it low: The swimsuit designer posted a video of her early-morning workout on Saturday

In the Boomerang clip, the swimsuit designer flaunts her pert posterior while lifting a jiggle weight and holding a squat.

Her Instagram story chronicled the 5ft9in Sports Illustrated cover model attempting to lift herself up using a pull-up bar in a video that she captioned: 'TRYINGGGG'.

While Graham seemed to be struggling with the pull-up, she succeeded in flaunting her toned arms and her enviable curves - which appear to have slimmed down, despite her luxurious ice-cream filled getaway.

Graham  - who is a proud size 16 - has said that to lose weight would be 'disloyal' to herself, according to Mirror. 

The rest of the workout saw the body activist lunging, reaching, and posing for a photo with her trainer.  

Her personal trainer Dawin Pena - the self-proclaimed 'Curvy Model King' - also shared a video of the brunette beauty on Thursday as she returned to New York City's Dogpound gym.

He captioned the clip: 'Ashley Graham is back, time to get real, vacation is over!'

This week, Graham's lingerie collaboration with Addition Elle released its first campaign shoot featuring the model in sizzling purple and black pieces from the collection. 

The plus-size friendly undergarment line teamed up with Graham in 2013 as well, when the voluptuous beauty created and modeled her collection for the brand. 

Her desire to create the line stems from experiencing a difficult time finding lingerie that is 'both supportive and sexy.' 

Pieces from the new collection are priced between from $30 to $95; sizes available range from a 36DD to 42H.
