Mohamed Hadid, 68, enjoys date night with glamorous fiancée Shiva Safai, 30... as ex-wife Yolanda steps out solo

He made hearts melt with his adorable message to daughter Bella last week following reports that her ex-boyfriend has moved on.

And Mohamed Hadid took some time out from his fatherly duties to enjoy a date night with his glamorous fiancée Shiva Safai, 30, at Madeo restaurant in West Hollwood on Friday.

The 68-year-old real estate developer went hand-in-hand with the striking brunette as they arrived at the upmarket venue.

Looking dapper in a velvet blazer and dark jeans, Mohamed led the way into the venue.

Shiva was dressed to impress in a simple yet sophisticated black jumpsuit, slinging a coat over her shoulders like a cape.

The millionaire and entrepreneur Shiva have been engaged for two years.

Mohamed was married to Yolanda from 1994 to 2000, and they have remained on good terms following their divorce.

The star showed his support for daughter Bella on Thursday after pictures emerged of her ex boyfriend The Weeknd snuggling up with her friend Selena Gomez. 

Alongside a snapshot of himself hugging the 20-year-old model, he wrote: 'Daddy's little Girl. I love you to the moon and back one thousand and one times.

Father-of-five Mohamed split with Bella's mother - former Real Housewife Yolanda back in 2000 and has since re-married model Shiva Safai.

He unsurprisingly feels protective of his daughter who only split from The Weeknd in November after two years of dating.

The singer-songwriter, real name Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, was spotted smooching Selena after a dinner date on Tuesday.

Moving on: Bella and The Weeknd were in a relationship for two years

The surprise new couple were not shy while hugging and sharing a sweet smooch in public as they left celebrity hot spot Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, in photos posted by TMZ.     

Selena and the younger sister of Gigi Hadid are also both members of Taylor Swift's girl squad.

The next day, Bella unfollowed the Hands To Myself songstress on Instagram. 

In screenshots posted by Elle, Bella was still following Selena at 1:30 P.M. but less than two hours later the actress and singer was unfollowed.

Former friends? But less than two hours later the actress and singer was unfollowed

The brunette beauties were even pictured together in September 2015 as they posed for an Instagram snapshot with model sisters Suki and Immy Waterhouse.

The former Disney Channel starlet - who holds the record for the most Instagram followers by a celebrity with 106 million - still follows Bella, who holds 9.5 million.

The Victoria's Secret model is one of just 254 people Selena follows on the popular social media app.

On Tuesday night the pop starlet held onto the Starboy hit-maker, wrapping her arms around him as they left the restaurant.

Selena laughed and smiled as she planted kisses on her new man, with The Weeknd at one point moving in for a full-on smooch.

Each was dressed in jeans and jackets with the R&B star adding a baseball cap.

Selena had a long on and off again relationship with Justin Bieber before they split for good in 2014.

The successful singer is fresh from touring her platinum-selling 2015 album Revival and recently completed a stay in a Tennessee treatment facility getting help for 'anxiety, panic attacks and depression' - which were side effects of her Lupus.

In December, Mexican pop star Paulina Rubio revealed that she and Selena have already collaborated on new material for the star.
