She celebrated the New Year with a sun-soaked trip to Sri Lanka with her two daughters.

And Myleene Klass appeared to be having a whale of a time during her exotic getaway, as she was spotted enjoying a spot of body-boarding with nine-year-old Ava and Hero, five.

The former Hear'Say singer, 38, looked every inch the beach babe as she flaunted her toned and tanned figure in a sizzling scarlet bikini while frolicking in the surf.

The brunette beauty stunned in her scarlet two-piece, which featured a strapless top and ruched bottoms with opulent gold detailing.

Flaunting her enviably flat stomach and pert behind, the fashion designer accessorised simply with some gold hoop earrings and necklace.

Drenched from her energetic water-sports, Myleene wore her raven tresses slicked back off her face and appeared to go make-up free as she showcased her naturally pretty features.

Boasting a deep, bronzed glow, she seemed like a seasoned pro at body-boarding as she balanced the board ontop of her head - before throwing herself into the water with her adorable daughters.

The TV star has been sharing stunning snaps from her travels daughters Ava, nine, and Hero, five on her Instagram page.

The day before Myleene enjoyed a safari with her daughters, sharing shots of herself and her girls spotting elephants from their vehicle.

The adventures continued as darkness fell when the trio took a trip to the beach to watch turtle eggs hatch. 

'Best experience. Hiked a long way w/ my girls in the dark to see a Turtle lay her eggs,' Myleene gushed to her social media fans.

It seems the trio had a fabulous Christmas, after Myleene told HELLO magazine that Christmas was 'magical' for the girls.

'I hope the magic lasts,' she said. 'But I’m not sure for how long it will. They always want to see what Santa has brought me so I have to wrap up something.

'And they both asked for presents for each other on their lists, which is really sweet. I don't think my sister and I did that. They are really protective of each other.'

When speaking of her new romance, Myleene recently told the Daily Mirror: 'He is so hot. It’s lovely. I’m enjoying myself.'

It was previously reported Myleene made Simon wait nearly six months before agreeing to be seen with him in public, while he finalised a divorce from his ex-wife.

Myleene was previously married to bodyguard Graham Quinn, 41 - the father of her two daughters.

Graham ended their six-month marriage and decade-long relationship when he walked out on her on her 34th birthday in April 2012. The couple were granted a divorce in April 2013.
