The new series, Claws, follows a eclectic group of nail salon employees in Florida, each with their own interesting backstories.

The show was originally created as a half-hour series for HBO, according to Variety, before TNT re-mastered it to an hour-long dramedy.

'Claws is wild and hilarious, and we can’t wait for viewers to immerse themselves in this fascinating world,' began TNT's Sarah Aubrey.

'This is a show with great storytelling featuring empowered female characters and brought to life by a diverse group of incredibly talented individuals both in front of and behind the camera.'
