A change of pace! Photographer Terry Richardson shares surprisingly sweet snap of himself playing with his sons, just days after he posted VERY risque images of naked models

  • The 51-year-old took to Instagram on Monday to share a heartwarming photo of himself in the kitchen with his 10-month-old sons Rex and Roman
  • The image was presumably taken by his longtime girlfriend Alexandra 'Skinny' Bolotow, who gave birth to the twins in March
  • A few days before, Terry shared two photos from the racy Tom Ford fragrance campaign he shot in 2007; the ads were banned in several countries

Terry Richardson is known for his provocative photos, but the father-of-two switched things up a bit when he allowed someone to point the camera lens at him and his twins sons for a change.

The 51-year-old took to Instagram on Monday to share a photo of himself in the kitchen with his darling boys, Rex and Roman, who are 10 months old.

Terry used two blue heart emoji to caption the image, which was presumably taken by his longtime girlfriend Alexandra 'Skinny' Bolotow.

Too cute! Terry Richardson took to Instagram on Monday to share a heartwarming photo of himself in the kitchen with his 10-month-old sons Rex and Roman

The image sees Terry sitting at the kitchen table holding one of his boys, while the other is sprawled on his stomach underneath his chair.

Both boys are sporting onesies in the snapshot, and Terry looks relaxed in a hoodie, sweatpants, and polka dot socks.

The photographer was definitely in full daddy-duty on Monday, but just a few days before he was reminiscing about a racy fragrance campaign he shot for Tom Ford fragrance in 2007.

Provocative: A few days before, Terry shared two photos from the racy Tom Ford fragrance campaign he shot in 2007

Terry posted two of the ads on Friday, and one of the images sees a naked female model with a perfume bottle wedged between her thighs and covering her genitals.

The other features a man lying down with the bottle placed in-between his butt cheeks, which are being spread by another person's hands.

Although the photos were banned in several countries for being too provocative, it is clear that Terry is still proud of his work a decade later.

Gang's all here! Last month, Terry proudly posted this blurry family portrait, which was taken by his mother in honor of his sons' first Christmas

First Christmas! Terry shared plenty of festive images of his boys over the holiday season

Terry's Instagram page is predominately filled with pictures of his work as a photographer, but his sons do make the occasional appearance — and the proud dad went all out over the holiday season.

Last month, Terry shared a very blurry family portrait of himself, his girlfriend, and their then-nine-month-old twins on the boys' first Christmas, revealing in the caption that the less-than-focused snap was taken by his sons' grandma.

'Family Christmas portrait shot by Grandma,' Terry wrote in the caption, clearly eager to make the world aware that the out-of-focus image was not his own work.

The image was one of several shared by Terry in honor of the festive holiday; on Christmas Eve, he shared a funny photo of his sons sitting in front of a tree among a pile of presents with one son looking somewhat bemused, while his brother can be seen crying hysterically.

His world: Terry took to Instagram last month to share intimate family photos of his girlfriend lexandra 'Skinny' Bolotow, which are featured in the first issue of the new magazine, Print

Feeling free: In one of the images, Skinny is pictured swimming naked during their trip to New Mexico over the summer

Dad life: Terry also photographed one of his twin boys having his diaper changed

Both boys can be seen wearing Christmas-themed tees from urban streetwear label Supreme, and the father-of-two also edited cartoon Christmas hats onto his sons' heads for some added festive flare.

'One naughty one nice,' Terry captioned the image, before adding: 'MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE.'

On December 22nd, the boys made another appearance on their dad's Instagram account, this time in an image that was taken when they met Santa for the first time.

Capturing his children looking less than thrilled about their encounter with Santa, Terry fittingly captioned the snap of the boys: 'Santa skeptics.'
