According to TMZ, the 18-year-old has met with director Lee Daniels to discuss an acting role in his new TV series Star.

It seems Paris is already getting in the swing of a celebrity lifestyle - stepping out at the Golden Globes last weekend in a stunning floral halterneck gown.

Paris has always cherished ambitions to become an actress - revealing her dream in interviews with both Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres four years ago.

'I just love it, and I think that it's amazing,' she told Oprah. 'You can be a totally different person on camera. It's fun. You can take on another character.

'My dad was in the movie Moonwalker, she added to Ellen. 'And I knew he could sing really well, but I didn't know he could act. I saw that and thought, "Wow, I want to be just like him."'
