And Lily Collins looked in good spirits a she grabbed a coffee in LA on Monday. 

The 27-year-old English actress showcased her washboard stomach and toned legs in a casual ensemble.

Tying a white T-shirt emblazoned with the words 'Going out' in a knot by her waist, she revealed her toned physique.

Lily teamed the top with fitted grey leggings and trainers, putting on a sporty appearance.

Warding off the chill in a khaki parka, she squeezed her belongings into a casual satchel bag, covering her face with oversized shades.

Meanwhile she recently scored her first ever Golden Globe nomination for for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical in Rules Don't Apply.

In the Warren Beatty-directed film, the English rose plays a young actress tempting fate with forbidden love in 1950's Hollywood.

Upon hearing the news, the star immediately took to Instagram to share a shot of herself with her hand over her mouth in shock as she took in the good news.

Next to the emotional image, Lily wrote: 'The moment your mom captures you being nominated for your first Golden Globe. Priceless. I still can't breathe.

'Beyond honoured, thankful, and proud. This can't be real!'

Lily later added: 'I've never felt so shocked, honoured, and proud. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to my fearless leader and mentor Warren Beatty, the Hollywood Foreign Press, and to all those involved with Rules Don't Apply.

‘I will never understand it. I’ve always wanted to feel I deserved to get somewhere because I’ve worked hard.’

'Sharing this moment with my mom sitting on our couch in the dark is something I'll never forget. It's a complete dream come true. I still can't breathe.'

And despite being the famous daughter of singer Phil Collins, Lily recently told Dailymail.com reporter Elaine Lipworth that she worked hard to make her own name for herself.

‘There is a huge sense of entitlement among young people,’ she said. ‘I will never understand it. I’ve always wanted to feel I deserved to get somewhere because I’ve worked hard.’

Neither parent spoiled her, she insists: ‘The best thing for me was being told “no” so many times. You learn from those experiences and it makes getting a “yes” more exciting because it wasn’t easy.’
