Vanessa Hudgens wows in off-the-shoulder top and tight leather pants as she promotes new TV show Powerless

Vanessa Hudgens put on a very fashionable display at the NBC Universal winter press tour in LA on Wednesday.

The actress, 28, rocked an off-the-shoulder long-sleeved black top that featured a cowl neck.

She added a pair of tight black leather pants and matching heels.

The former High School Musical star wore her shoulder-length bob sleekly styled and accentuated her eyes with some dusky shadow.

She kept her lip color to a neutral shade and sported a contrasting pearl white manicure.

Vanessa was at the event to promote her new NBC show Powerless.

Powerless is the first comedy series to come out of the DC Comics universe.

Vanessa plays a R&D director at a subsidiary of Wayne Enterprises and the workplace set show will feature some of the lesser known DC Comics characters.

The actress told the panel that it was easy to accept the project, saying 'I love workspace comedies.'

Instead of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash and Green Lantern, viewers will be introduced to 'the deeper world of DC,' the show's executive producer Patrick Schumacker told the media. 

'The idea is that we’re going to pull from the entire canon of the comics,' he explained. 

'You’re going to see characters you’re familiar with if you are a hardcore comic book fan. A lot of those heroes, I would look them as underdogs.'
