With her long brown locks, delicate features and similar trademark pose, people often seem surprised that this 20-year-old isn't the real deal.  

Jacky Melissa Vasquez, from Virginia, is regularly mistaken for pop superstar Ariana Grande with people struggling to tell them apart.

She bears an uncanny resemblance to the singer and Jacky, who has 189,000 followers on Instagram, was even followed on social media by Ariana who commented on her photos and expressed her shock at the similarities.

Jacky (above) bears an uncanny resemblance to the singer. She was even followed on social media by Ariana who commented on her photos and expressed her shock at the similarities

Jacky admits that she regularly gets stopped in the street and fans have even asked Jacky to pose for a photo.

The waitress from Virginia said: 'People started to tell me I looked like Ariana back in 2010 when she stared in Victorious on Nickelodeon.

'Ever since then I realised how much I do look like her.

'People stare at me in the street and I can sometimes hear her name being mentioned in stranger's conversations because they think I'm her.

Jacky says: 'Some people might get annoyed by all the attention but I am completely flattered when people say I look like Ariana (above)'

Jacky (above) continues, saying: 'She's a hardworking, talented beautiful young woman and I know so many girls would love to look like her'

Jacky was even followed on social media by Ariana (above) who commented on one of her photos saying that her cousin thought she was her

Jacky (above) says: 'I have had some negativity, people have left hateful comments on social media, but mainly people are fascinated by the similarities'
