He has seen his star rise exponentially since he took on the role of philanthropist, playboy and and inventor, Tony Stark.
So it was no surprise to see Robert Downey Jr. conquering the category of Favourite Action Hero at the People's Choice Awards, on Wednesday night, in Los Angeles .
Bagging the Favourite Action Hero gong, thanks to his role as Marvel's Iron Man, the 51-year-old actor appeared triumphant and touched as took to the stage a the Microsoft Arena.
