EXCLUSIVE: 'It's a sham!': Ray J's manager blasts CBB producers for discrediting the star by refusing to let him re-enter the house after dental treatment... as he prepares to sue

US singer Ray J's manager David Weintraub is preparing to take legal action against Celebrity Big Brother following his client's shock departure from the house earlier this series.

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline on Friday night, Weintraub claimed the show's producers breached Ray's contract by refusing to let him re-enter the house after he underwent dental treatment on a cavity.

The talent manager explained: 'We are deciding to sue because they are taking a position that is breaching the contract we agreed to.

'They are saying due to health issues, which don't exist with Ray, that's the reason they pulled the plug, which is utter nonsense. He's been evaluated by his own doctors and dental team and he's ok to work.

'These guys used Ray to launch the show, to get it started, to make it sound like it would be a big noise.

'He had a cavity that was causing him severe pain, that needed medical attention. Once it was done, he was cleared to work. Why is he being treated differently to other people who have left the show with medical conditions?'

A spokesman for Celebrity Big Brother told MailOnline: 'We always follow strict medical protocols relying on the advice of experts with regard to the health of housemates.'

Ray, 36, spent eight days in the CBB house before scenes aired on Wednesday 10 showed him entering the diary room never to rejoin his co-stars.

Prior to his departure, Ray had proved a popular housemate and viewers hadn't heard any mention of dental discomfort.

Critical of the way the show is edited, Weintraub said: 'They are not showing what really happened with his condition.

'They will show you what they want to show you. This is not a reality show. It's a sham that's orchestrated by the producers.

'We have six shows we are part of (in the US) as stars or executive producers,  and we have never seen this level of malice or neglect. The CBB producers show a part of the show that's their interpretation.'

Following a bright and energetic first night in the house, the singer appeared to spend a lot of time sleeping in the days that followed.

Fighting talk: Ray's manager said there would be 'huge repercussions on their (CBB's) end'

Weintraub explained: 'Ray was extremely tired from the journey to start the show. He had been working right up until the show started, mix that with living with severe dental pain and living in contrived conditions.'

He added that that there would be 'huge repercussions on their (CBB's) end.'

'This whole thing has been a debacle,' said Weintraub. 'It doesn't present us in the proper light as we are seen in the US.'

Ray has since been pictured in London looking fit and healthy with his wife Princess Love.
