It's been seven years since a rain storm of this magnitude has hit Southern California. 

And on Sunday, Kelly Rowland braved the wet and windy conditions in a snakeskin print matching set for a grocery run in Beverly Hills.

The Destiny's Child singer managed a small smile as she hurried back to the safety of her car after putting her groceries away.

The winter storm - called Leo - is fast becoming Southern California's strongest storm since 2010.

Los Angeles and the surrounding cities have had nonstop rain for days - with gusty winds topping up to 80 mph as well.

On her Sunday outing Kelly, who had her cart full of groceries, chose comfort for her food run.

The 35-year-old wore loose-fitting patterned bottoms with a matching jacket.
