'Are you really gonna marry this guy?' Bryan Tanaka confront Mariah Carey about James Packer engagement on season finale of Mariah's World

Mariah's backup dancer Bryan Tanaka confronted the singer about her relationship with fiance James Packer on this Sunday's season finale of Mariah's World and things got a little tense. 

Viewers have seen Mariah, 46, and Bryan, 33, grow close throughout the first season of the songstress' reality show on E! network.

And now she's been forced to confront the growing affection between the two.

In a clip promoting the show, Bryan asks Mariah about her relationship.

'Are you really gonna marry this guy?' Tanaka questions. 'I was just...just wondering.'

Mariah pauses for a second before replying: 'I don't even know what I think anymore.'

The backup dancer, who is now dating the singer, responds that he just wants her to be happy. 

But Mariah seems a little melancholy when it comes to her happiness with the Australia billionaire. 

 'Sometimes, maybe people aren't supposed to be happy, they're just supposed to like exist,' Mariah says.

'No I think everybody should be happy,' Tanaka replies.

Mariah hints at her feelings for the backup dancer, saying she has a feeling she knows what happiness means.

She continued:  'I have an idea, but then I don't want it to be weird with us so...everybody's probably looking.'
