It's one of the most highly-anticipated films of the year and fans are even more excited about Beauty & The Beast after seeing Luke Evans as Gaston.

Fans took to Twitter in their droves after posters of the Welsh actor as the fairy tale villain were unveiled.

The pictures sent his female fans into a frenzy, with many describing him as 'perfect' and one lady saying he made her feel things 'in a good way'.

Luke, 37, took to Twitter to reveal the animated poster, writing: 'Well hello there, I'm Gaston...see more when our final trailer for #BeautyAndTheBeast arrives on Monday ��#BeOurGuest'.

His post was liked and retweeted thousands of times by delighted fans who were quick to respond.

'Looking great Mr. Gaston. This time many people are gonna love Gaston instead of hating him,' wrote one. 

'Luke Evans as Gaston is just perfect,' wrote another, whilst another added: 'Luke Evans as Gaston tho.'

On Wednesday, Disney released the fourth and most-detailed poster for its live-action retelling of Beauty and the Beast, which hits US/UK theaters March 17.

The elaborate triptych image features both the human and the enchanted forms for the entire ensemble with the obvious exception of Dan Stevens' Prince Adam.

However, the 34-year-old Downton Abbey alum could be seen as Beast at the centre waltzing with Emma Watson's booksmart Belle.

The left side had the French Disney princess at Beast's castle as well as her father Maurice (Kevin Kline), suitor Gaston (Luke Evans) and his sidekick Le Fou (Josh Gad).

At the bottom left were Gugu Mbatha-Raw's Plumette, Ewan McGregor's Lumière, Stanley Tucci's Cadenza, and Ian McKellen's Cogsworth.

The right side had Audra McDonald and her Garderobe, and Emma Thompson and her Mrs. Potts holding Nathan Mack's Chip; as well as the human McKellan, McGregor, and Tucci.

The triptych came two months after the record-breaking first trailer revealed the 26-year-old Harry Potter alum singing Belle Reprise.
