'It was a bump in the road': Ozzy Osbourne reveals he LIED about being a 'sex addict' in expletive rant after cheating on wife Sharon last year with hairdresser Michelle Pugh

He was reportedly seeking therapy after cheating on his wife Sharon Osbourne with hairdresser Michelle Pugh last year.

And Ozzy Osbourne has now backtracked on his claims of a 'sex addiction' - instead confessing he made it up after getting caught.

The Black Sabbath rocker, 68, made the shocking admission to The Times, stating: 'I’m in a f***ing rock band, aren’t I? There have always been groupies. I just got caught, didn’t I? It was a bump in the road.'

Continuing on, the singer/songwriter revealed: 'I don’t think I’m a f***ing sex addict.'

The affirmation is a far cry from the statement he issued last year, where he explained: 'Over the last six years, I have been dealing with a sex addiction. Out of bad comes good. Since the press exposed this, I have gone into intense therapy.'

He went on to suggest that Sharon's jam-packed schedule was also partly to blame for his infidelity with the celebrity hairstylist.

Ozzy revealed: 'In any marriage you grow apart if you don’t spend enough time together, and that was part of the problem.'

Ozzy was ultimately sacked from Black Sabbath in 1979, after which Sharon took him on as a solo client and began to date him on the side.
