Thandie is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for her work on the HBO show.

Taking cues from her show's Western meets futuristic storyline, Thandie wore a Western-patterned ankle length dress.

The strapless gown was covered in pale bronze sequins with images of horses, birds and a ferris wheel created using black sequins.

But just like Westworld, the dress also had a futuristic edge with the actress wearing an asymmetrical collar with a dramatic one-shouldered sleeve.

The collar meant the star skipped wearing a necklace and, as her dress already shone bright, she also kept the rest of her bling simple wearing silver and rose gold backed diamond studs and a double diamond ring.

Thandie perfectly matched her shows to her dress' light bronze shade.

The actress wore her hair in a 1920's inspired 'do with her locks pulled back with a wave at the front.

Thandie shared some snaps on Instagram of her getting her hair done by celebrity stylist Patricia Morales.

As she did, the British star - whose mother is Zimbabwean and father is English - took aim at President Donald Trump's Executive Order on immigration.

The star said on Instagram: 'Grooming has begun for @sagawards nominee ha ha! @patriciamoraleshair getting her groove on busting me a b***hin' look!!!!

'Immigrants rule': As she did, the British star - whose mother is Zimbabwean and father is English - took aim at President Donald Trump's Executive Order on immigration

'They're trying to put velvet loafers on [husband] Ol with his suit I saved him. Immigrants RULE forever xxxxx Thandie and Patricia.'

Many at the SAGs used their platform to criticized the President's new mandate.

The order bars citizens of seven predominately Muslim countries from entering the United States for the next 90 days, suspends the admission of all refugees for 120 days and bars Syrian refugees until further notice.
