'The best BFF!' Busy Philipps wears a uterus sweatshirt as she jets off hand in hand with Michelle Williams

Their friendship began when they got their big break on Dawson's Creek back in the early 2000s.

And Busy Philipps and Michelle Williams showed that they are close as ever as they jetted off for a trip on Monday, the day after attending the SAG Awards together.

'Holding hands across the aisle on takeoff. Flying with your bff is the best!' wrote Busy, who wore a bright pink uterus motif sweatshirt.

Proud feminist: The $98 Rachel Antonoff Female Reproductive System sweater worn by Busy has sold out at boutiques in LA, in the wake of the Women's March

The Rachel Antonoff Female Reproductive System sweater worn by Busy has sold out at boutiques in Los Angeles. Costing $98, it also comes in T-shirt form for $64.

Busy, 37, first wore hers when she took her daughters Birdie and Cricket to the Women's March last week.

In fitting with their feminist beliefs, at the airport in Los Angeles Busy and Michelle were spotted reading from Aussie writer Charlotte Wood's novel The Natural Way of Things, a dystopian novel which challenges misogyny.

Stepping out: Busy teamed her statement sweater - which she also wore to the Women's March last week - with a pair of denim jeans and trainers

Dressed down for the flight, Busy teamed her statement sweater with a comfy pair of denim jeans and trainers.

Michelle went for a long-sleeved maxi dress and boots, carrying a denim jacket and black leather handbag.

Their casual look was in contrast to the previous evening, when the duo attended the SAG Awards together.

Mother-of-one Michelle had asked Busy to attend the event as her date.

'Sequins all day everyday!' wrote an excited Busy on Instagram as they made the evening into a girls night.

Michelle, who wore an incredible Luis Vuitton gown, was nominated for Outstanding Performance By A Female Actor In A Supporting Role for her work in Manchester by the Sea.

On the night the award went to Fences star Viola Davis.
