A substantial body of literature is exploring the modern concept of the e-Commerce economy, which subsumes activities like electronic Commerce. This paper discuss Commerce and independent contracting, differentiates e-Commerce from traditional commerce, Social Commerce. The paper contributes to the existing management information system literature by analyzing e-commerce mode of operation; harvesting the motivations and satisfaction level of 15 American e-Shoppers through online interviews. The implications for practitioners and the society are discussed.
