Nick Cannon flaunts his flamboyant fashion flare in a red turban and zany flag trousers for TV appearance in NYC

As queen diva Mariah Carey's ex-husband, he's never been one to shy away from the camera. 

And Nick Cannon displayed his flamboyant fashion flare as he appeared on AOL's BUILD Series to promote his new track, Hold On, in New York City on Tuesday.

The rapper, 36, opted for a particularly zany look as he took to the stage, teaming a red turban with an American flag trousers for the occasion.

Showing off his patriotic side, the If I Was Your Man hitmaker donned a pair of baggy tracksuit bottoms featuring the stars and stripes and a motif of the Statue of Liberty on one leg.

The father-of-two added a skintight vest, topped with a checkered sleeveless shirt, which perfectly paraded his heavily tattooed arms.

Completing his quirky ensemble, the Wild 'n Out host topped his head with a red turban while adding an array of diamond encrusted chains.

The America's Got Talent presenter added a pair of high-top white trainers to artfully match his quirky outfit.

In true A-list fashion, he wore a pair of black-tinted sunglasses throughout his TV appearance.

Nick, who is often seen an array of colourful turbans, recently revealed the reason why he loves to wear the flamboyant accessory.

While appearing on The Ellen Degeneres Show, the father-of-two explained he's been wearing turbans to raise 'cultural understanding'.

The Looking For A Dream hitmaker said he's been studying turbans 'for quite some time' and wears them to encourage others to 'embrace differences'.

Nick is set to become a dad for the third time after revealing his beauty queen ex Brittany Bell is expecting a child.

The star is already the father of five-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, with ex-wife Mariah Carey, 46.

The comedian and his songstress former flame are still on great terms, having recently posted a snap of the ex-couple and their twins enjoying a family dinner.
