My Muse! Matt Bellamy enjoys shopping trip with girlfriend Elle Evans in cold NYC

A session of retail therapy worked up appetites for Muse frontman Matt Bellamy and supermodel Elle Evans.

Surrounded by their many shopping bags, the lovebirds stopped for a bite outside on Tuesday in New York City, tucking into a cup of warm soup amid bone-chilling temperatures.

And they looked well-prepared for the cold weather in padded jackets and boots.

British star Matt - who is Kate Hudson's ex - had on a white Canada Goose parka that featured a fur trim. The 38-year-old teamed the jacket with black trousers and sleek boots. 

Meanwhile, his Blurred Lines sweetheart had on a rather wild ensemble. 

The 27-year-old had on an assortment of prints and fabrications from head to toe, including a leopard skin coat that incorporated ear detail around the hood, a graphic scarf, tribal print leggings and fuzzy brown boots that included silver chains. She completed the look with dramatic wing-tipped eyeliner and a glossy lip.

While the Madness singer chatted away on his phone, the stunner chowed down on the warm treat. Onlookers spotted the pair sharing the cup during the outing.

They appear to have returned from a his-and-hers shopping trip, with Elle carrying bags from Intermix and another store, and Matt with bags from Diesel.

Matt and Elle have been quite fond of each other since the blonde appeared in his band Muse's 2015 music video for the song Mercy.

Not seen on the trip was the musician's five-year-old son Bingham, whom he has with his ex-fiancee Kate Hudson.

The movie star and rocker split in 2014 after four years together.  

The couple’s representative told People that 'they remain very close friends and committed co-parents'.

Interestingly, it was music, too, that led to his romance with the blonde Fool's Gold actress. 

In 2010 they met at the Coachella music festival in Indio, California, and one year later they were engaged.
