'I've got my priorities really in order!': Rob Lowe laughs as Jimmy Kimmel ribs him over job ad for assistant who can turn on his jacuzzi and arrange massages

He's rumoured to be the mystery client whose hilarious job ad for a new assistant has been making headlines.  

But Rob Lowe wasn't certain if the listing was even his when he was asked about the alleged job ad obtained by TMZ during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday. 

The actor, 52, was read the job requirements by Jimmy and was clearly amused by the posting - and he even admitted it could very well have been real, as he is actually hiring.

Not your average 9-5: Rob Lowe addressed a job ad obtained by TMZ during his Wednesday appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! 

'I've heard about this,' Rob said when the topic of the job ad was first broached. 'By the way, I haven't seen this, I've been hearing about it,' he added. 

To his amusement, Jimmy read the hilarious job ad, which required applicants to 'never assume anything' and 'serve as the client's body man.'  

'Number one, never assume anything,' Jimmy began reading from the alleged posting.

'Love it,' Rob replied. 'My grandpa used to say, "don't make an a** of you and me. A-S-S you and me.'

Jimmy continued, 'Ensure the client, Rob, is fed and has had coffee throughout the day.' 

'Yeah!' Rob responded. 

'Schedule haircuts every episode for the client,' Jimmy read, 'ensure that the client has a dinner plan if arriving home later than 8pm, make sure you let estate staff know if the client wants a jacuzzi turned on or a massage-'

He's hiring! Rob admitted he is indeed looking for a new assistant

Upon hearing the jacuzzi and massage requests, Rob interjected: 'See, I've got my priorities really in order, that's what's clear!'

Jimmy continued:  'Willing to travel on location as requested and serve as the client's body man.'

'Wait, wait, is body man in quotes? Like, "body man,"' Rob said.

The doctor is in: Rob is currently starring in CBS hospital drama Code Black as ruggedly well-groomed Dr. Ethan Willis

'Able to lift up to 25 pounds as required to support the client,' Jimmy read.

'Cause I weigh 25 pounds,' Rob joked. 'I need to be supported.'

Rob then revealed he is indeed hiring.

'I am looking for an assistant,' he announced.

'Did anyone in your organization post an ad, looking for an assistant?' Jimmy said. 

Rob responded it's possible they did. 

'It may be real, but I'm kind of liking the specifics that they're asking for!' he joked. 

In the original TMZ posting, Rob's team denied that the ad pertains to any employment with him but told the website: 'We can confirm coffee is his number one priority in life.'

Sources insist to the website that the job ad is indeed to work for Rob and will pay a salary of $70,000.
