As his ex-girlfriend Irina Shayk prepares to become a first-time parent with new beau Bradley Cooper, Cristiano Ronaldo is showing that he's also moved on romantically.

On Monday night, the Real Madrid forward, 31, was spotted taking his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez out for a romantic meal as they celebrated her 23nd birthday.

The photogenic lovebirds looked casually cool in their ensembles of choice as they arrived at Madrid's upscale Tatel restaurant for their celebratory night.

Raven-haired beauty Georgina looked stylish in a plunging black top, with faded black jeans, black knee-high boots and a light grey blazer.

With a Gucci belt adding an extra touch of pizazz to her polished look, she wore her long, wavy tresses with a centre-parting.

Football heartthrob Cristiano displayed his flair for fashion in a brown camel coat, which he wore over a black top with matching trousers and sand dessert boots.

With a black beanie had atop his head and rosary-style beads adorning his neck, the sportsman appeared to be in jovial spirits as they exited the eatery.

Georgina, who is reported to have worked at a Gucci store in Madrid before embarking on her new romance, is believed to have caught Cristiano's eye in the VIP section of a recent Dolce & Gabbana party.

It is said that they dated in secret for a few months, before going public with their romance by enjoying a date at Disneyland Paris in November.

Earlier this month, the couple stepped out with the footballer's six-year-old son Cristiano Jnr. - whose mother's identity has never been publicly revealed - to attend the FIFA Football Awards in Zurich.

Prior to Georgina, Ronaldo has enjoyed a series of brief romances following the January 2015 announcement of his split with Russian Victoria's Secret model Irina Shayk, 31.

He was pictured on a luxury yacht on the Mediterranean in June, gyrating with a brunette who was later identified as Colombian Paula Suarez.

British socialite Chloe Green set tongues wagging in March by posting an autographed message from Cristiano above a lips T-shirt on her Instagram account during a visit to Madrid.

Irina has since embarked on a relationship with Hollywood actor Bradley Cooper - and casued a stir at the end of the year when she displayed what appeared to be a baby bump - but the couple have yet to publicly confirm they're expecting a child.
