Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell stopped by their work-in-progress pad in Bentwood, California, on Thursday.

The 71-year-old actress and her 65-year-old partner surveyed the building works which looks like it is finally coming together.

Hollywood's most enduring partnership often stop by to check out the house and a clearly itching to finally get to call it home after selling their long time Pacific Palisades residence in September last year.

For their site visit, Goldie wore rocked a pair of camouflage print leggings with a grey hoodie and trainers.

The blonde did break away from her sporty style a little bit by carrying a forest green Chanel handbag.

Kurt meanwhile wore a pair of blue jeans and a T-shirt from Hollywood stunt company Brad X Stunts.

Goldie and Kurt have avoided the traditional route of marriage and flourished in the face of naysayers.

She told Porter Magazine a piece of paper does not make a strong relationship.

'A lasting relationship isn't about marriage. It's about compatibility and communication.

'It's also about not losing yourself in each other. Being together, two pillars holding up the house and the roof, and being different, not having to agree on everything, learning how to deal with not agreeing. Everything's a choice.'
