She usually spends her time filming Hollywood movies alongside her A-list peers.

But Elle Fanning, 18, decided to spend her rare down time hitting the gym in Los Angeles on Thursday morning.

The actress ensured she stood out from the crowd in an eye-catching neon sports bra teamed with matching figure-hugging leggings.

Fresh off the Sundance Film Festival red carpet, the teen proved her sartorial chops extended to loungewear too as she paraded her svelte figure in matching neon co-ords.

Elle donned a bright tangerine and purple sports bra as she teased a glimpse of her incredibly taut tummy.

Teamed with matching skintight yoga pants, the Maleficent star paraded her incredibly long and lean pins while strutting to her awaiting car.  

Keeping the cool chill at bay, the younger sister to Dakota Fanning draped an oversized black jacket across her shoulders which swamped the star's petite frame.

Elle Fanning proved she can work casual looks just as well as she can rock red-carpet styles, when she was spotted out in LA recently.

According to IMDB, the movie follows the story of Sidney who finds 'accidental success and unexpected love at an early age, then disappears without a trace'. 

The actress has a busy year ahead, starring in movies such as A Storm In The Stars and How to Talk to Girls at Parties.

Elle also appears on the cover of Vanity Fair's February issue alongside her fellow Hollywood leading ladies, including her sister Dakota, Emma Stone and Natalie Portman.
