Borne this way! Lady Gaga gets police escort to NRG Stadium in Houston as she rehearses for Super Bowl Halftime Show 

She's making sure her halftime show doesn't turn into an American horror story.

Lady Gaga received a police escort to the NRG stadium on Thursday to rehearse for her upcoming Super Bowl performance.

The 30-year-old shared shared a clip of herself driving into the Houston arena flanked by a police cruiser and a police bike, lights flashing.

While she took the wheel herself, once she was inside she took a break from driving, hitching a ride on a golf cart instead.

She also shared a behind the scenes montage of her preparations, along with an audio clip of s speech she gave to her crew.

'A major thank you to you - to the field cast, to the crew that's here. Everybody that's helping us build the stage, everybody that's doing lighting, our dancers, the fans, everybody... thank you,' she said.

'Stay focused, okay? And be kind to one another. We feel so blessed to be on this stage, there is going to be so many people watching, so let's send the world our love and positivity, okay?

'To the dressin room': While she took the wheel herself, once she was inside she took a break from driving, hitching a ride on a golf cart instead.

She then lead them in a chant of '51!' before ordering: 'Okay let's get to work!'

Earlier in the day she told a press conference her show would  celebrate 'inclusion' and the 'spirit of equality' during a time of national division. 

'This performance is for everyone. I want to, more than anything, create a moment that everyone that's watching will never forget,' Gaga, 30, said.

The same day the Bad Romance hitmaker shared a behind the scenes video before her appearance where she danced around in a nude bra while having her hair and makeup done.

She wrote: 'Anyone that's looking for a sneak peek of the Halftime show, here it is. getting ready for press conference w hairography assistant @fredericaspiras'

During the press conference Gaga didn't reveal what songs she would sing, how many costumes she'll wear or any staging details, but promised a 'tremendously athletic' show and no reappearance of her infamous meat dress.

She also told fans not to read too much into the little bee emoji she used to sign off one of her Instagram posts, after it sparked a rumour her Telephone collaborator Beyonce would return for the Halftime show once again this year.

Bey, who just announced she is pregnant with twins, rocked Super Bowl 50 with Coldplay and Bruno Mars, when gaga sang the National Anthem. 

The 13-minute concert will also feature an appearance by Tony Bennett, who Lady Gaga called a 'tremendously wise man.' Lady Gaga and Bennett recorded the 2014 album of duets, 'Cheek to Cheek.'

In addition to Gaga, three original cast members of the Tony Award-winning Broadway hit 'Hamilton' will sing 'America the Beautiful' during pregame festivities and Luke Bryan will perform the national anthem.

The showdown between the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons airs Sunday on Fox. 

The songstress, who admitted many of her relatives are Pittsburgh Steelers fans, wouldn't reveal who she's rooting for. 'I'm going to keep that one to myself,' she said.

The six-time Grammy Award-winner, whose hits include 'Poker Face' and 'Born This Way,' said she considers being asked to be the halftime headliner is due to her fans, affectionately known as 'little monsters.'

'Essentially, that kid that couldn't get a seat at the cool kids table and that kid who was kicked out of the house because his mom and dad didn't accept him for who he was? That kid is going to have the stage for 13 minutes,' she said. 'And I'm excited to give it to them.'

It's the first Super Bowl in Houston since Janet Jackson's infamous 'wardrobe malfunction.' Lady Gaga said no such mistakes will happen on Sunday and she's been training with her dancers for weeks. 'Everything is going to be nice and tight,' she said. 'I wouldn't worry about that.'
