She's the Hollywood starlet who always stuns in impeccable red carpet ensembles.

But Rose Byrne has admitted the inside of her handbag can get a little messy, during an interview with Marie Claire ahead of Oroton's AW 2017 campaign reveal.

The actress, who is an ambassador for the handbag brand, began with a long list of items you'd spot in her go-to accessory.

'Well there's my phone, my wallet, elastic bands,' she began, before clarifying: 'like a thousand elastic bands'

'Probably a parking ticket, some coins and hairpins, lip balm... that's about it I think,' she continued.

'I've always loved fashion, whether it be a handbag or a pair of shoes. But I'm very laid-back generally,' the Sydney-born stunner said of her own style.

Rose has been a brand ambassador for Oroton for more than two years, stating she was really touched when the brand named The Journey Love Rose handbag after her in 2015.

Oroton's latest campaign was released this week and features Rose walking through Sydney’s iconic St. James station.

The dim-lit advert begins with Rose's bag being snatched by another woman, which is then exchanged and stolen by the hands of multiple women in a mysterious sequence.

As the campaign is labelled 'Desire Takes Over', the women lust over the label's main piece, the $445 Ashbury clutch.

She will be returning to Australia this month to lead a panel of judges at the 25th annual Tropfest short film festival in Sydney on February 11.

Past judges include Hollywood icons Will Smith, Nicole Kidman and Russell Crowe among others.
