'Clearly he seems to think it is beneath him': Tom Arnold 'paid $40,000 a week' on I'm A Celebrity... amid calls for him to be booted for being a 'grumpy old man' in camp

He's the American sitcom star who was widely promoted ahead of his appearance on I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here!

And despite Tom Arnold using his time in the jungle to nap, Confidential has reported the former Rosanne star is being paid $40,000 a week, meaning he could take home up $250,000 for his appearance.

The revelation comes as the 57-year-old fails to strike a chord with viewers, with fans calling for Tom to be booted for being a 'grumpy old man'.

'Leave the jungle Tom Arnold...grumpy old man,' one viewer tweeted.

'Tom Arnold had better get a LOT more interesting REAL soon,' another fan wrote.

On Wednesday, Tom told host Chris Brown he was finding his time in the jungle 'horrible' and had previously thought the camp's challenges were staged.
