'I'm still crying!' Selma Blair drives away from the gas station with fuel nozzle still attached to her car

Friday wasn't the greatest day for actress Selma Blair.

And the sobbing star didn't hold back as she took to Instagram to tell her fans about her unlucky morning.

The 44-year-old star explained how she caused $500 of damage by accidentally driving off with the gas station's fuel nozzle still hooked to her car.

'500 dollar tank of gas' Selma Blair had a rough day Friday, after she absentmindedly drove away from the gas station with the pump still hooked up to her car

The Michigan-born talent took a close up that showed off her teary eyes and a bit of smeared makeup as she told fans about her earlier ordeal.

'Ok. So my head is still pounding,' she explained. 'I drove away from a gas pump with the nozzle still in. And then I paid for the broken pump so that was over a 500 dollar tank of gas.'

The star said the situation made her feel 'awful for being so absent minded,' which then caused the In Their Skin actress to 'burst into tears in front of barista after ordering and made everyone uncomfortable.'

Although the incident had passed, Selma told fans she was 'Still crying. And I ran out of dog food. And Excedrin,' before asking Can I have someone say this will pass ?'

Tiny tootsies: The star's day started off nicely, as Selma shared a cute wake-up selfie of her being awoken by her kid's foot

It seems like Selma was keen on putting her bad day behind her, as she started her Saturday on the right foot.

Selma began her day sharing a sweet Instagram of herself being awoken by the feet of her son Arthur.

She captioned the snap: 'De feet. Dat's what woke me' and added the tags '#defeet', '#thankyou', and '#kindwordsfeelgood'.

Lucky! Selma Blair looked delighted in Los Angeles on Friday, as she found her meter already paid

Before her gas station debacle, the 44-year-old actress appeared to be in good spirits as she stepped out in Los Angeles.

She was lucky enough to find an already-paid parking meter, as she also wore a pair of tasseled suede brown boots and kept it casual in rolled up pale blue denim jeans.

A chunky aran-knit sweater kept her warm, as she multi-tasked - chatting on her phone.

The Cruel Intentions beauty carried her belongings in a teal tote, which was slung over one arm.

Her brunette tresses were worn straight and with bangs, and she added sunglasses.

On the heels of her portrayal of Kris Jenner in The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, Selma will next appear in a horror thriller film out later this year titled Mom and Dad.

Directed and written by Brian Taylor, the film will center around a full day in the life of a teenage girl and her younger brother, who find themselves in the midst of some sort of outbreak that results in parents brutalizing their children.

She'll star alongside Nicolas Cage, as on-screen parents, as well as Anne Winters, who ironically recently appeared in 2016's television version of Cruel Intentions, the 1999 movie that made Selma famous.

Though the film is completed according to IMDB, no specific release date has been set at this time.
