She's a doting mother to four-year-old Jack. 

So it came as no surprise to see Anna Faris looked in good spirits as she carried her son through LAX airport on Saturday. 

Holding the youngster on her hip, the Mom actress, 40, beamed broadly as she strolled through the terminal.

Dressed down for the flight, Anna teamed a black padded coat with jeans and slipped her feet into fur topped boots. 

She wore her golden locks loose and tousled, framing her pretty face as she peered out beneath her fringe. 

Meanwhile, Jack looked adorable in a grey hoodie and bottoms as he gazed up at his mother.

Anna was not joined by her husband Chris Pratt, who recently starred alongside her in her popular sitcom Mom for a series of very raunchy scenes. 

The real-life to on-screen couple were seen having a romp in the hay, with Chris, 37, joking that he had practised the scenes with Anna for '10 years'.

Speaking to ET about the role in a featurette, Chris- who shares four-year-old son Jack with Anna, joked: 'We get to have this really nice relationship.

'We have a sex scene, like a sexy scene. We've been rehearsing that for 10 years.

'It's really nice to see your spouse in their work environment. Well, I don't know if it is for everyone, but it is for me.'

In episode Good Karma And The Big Weird Chris, who had never acted before a live studio audience before, plays the nephew of her sponsor who is drafted in to give her a riding lesson.

When Christy twists her ankle in an unfortunately accident, the riding instructor heroically carries her into the adjoining barn.

And his act wins him a kiss, which quickly escalates into much more.

The twosome begin a passionate affair, but Christy soon realises she may have just gained a stalker. 

Their first date turns into an awkward game of miss the kiss, when he puckers up to her face so passionately the waiter exclaims: 'I'll come back to take your order when you're done eating'.

He then gives her further jitters as he proclaims he is going to marry her, before turning up outside her apartment with a guitar to serenade her. 

Perhaps a little too late her sponsor confirms he spends most of his time in a 'facility' and works with the horses as therapy. 

But when Christy tries to break up with him, he appears oblivious, chirping: 'OK!… It's not over.'

She hits back with: 'No, Nick, it really is.' 'OK!' 

'So we're clear, we're not going to see each other.' 'You're such a silly!', he responds.

Mom airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
