One would think a bookstore-based event would be fairly low-key affair.

But not for Keke Palmer, who wowed in her outfit she wore to her book signing on Saturday in Los Angeles.

The 23-year-old Scream Queens star turned heads by flashing a generous amount of skin for the occasion.

Up top, the starlet opted for a revealing black feathered crop top which included a plunging v-neck and provided a clear view of her amazingly toned midsection.

Her grey, distressed denim skirt was even racier, as it sported an extremely high asymmetrical hem that showcased her sculpted legs.

Some black, very high strappy stiletto heels finished off the stylish outfit.

Of course her famous burgundy-dyed, braided locks were on display as well, and fell almost halfway down her back.

While she appeared to have a great time with her fans at the signing, Keke took the opportunity to post some moodier snaps in the same outfit to Instagram before the show.

The final photo again shows the Brotherly Love actress in a moody pose, but her accompanying explanation was anything but.

'The slay before the book signing,' she wrote, before gushing 'thank you so much everyone for coming out. ESPECIALLY MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS, those that helped me to be who I am today! Grateful! Shout out to Barnes & Noble!'
