Would you like a Super Bowl with that? Chrissy Teigen munches hot dogs, Reese Witherspoon serves up cookies, and Lionel Richie gets pizza as stars enjoy big game feast

It is the big game that has almost became a religious feast day.

So it is somewhat appropriate stars including Reese Witherspoon and Lionel Richie were tucking in as they got ready to watch the Super Bowl on Sunday.

Chrissy Teigen was enjoying the NFL showpiece event at the NRG Stadium in Texas with her husband John Legend, and feasted on that most American of foods - the hot dog.

The busty beauty certainly did not seem to holding back as she tucked in as she took in the big game live.

For the 31-year-old glamour model captioned a twitter snap that showed a hot dog and chips, 'HD1,' suggesting she would have been munching more sausages as the night wore on.

But Chrissy and her pianist other half were not the only big names filling their bellies while watching the New England Patriots take on the Atlanta Falcons at the 51st Super Bowl.

But while they were taking in the action first hand, Reese Witherspoon and her family were watching from the comfort of her home in Los Angeles.

The 40-year-old Legally Blonde beauty shared an image of one of her children staring at her assembled snacks with the caption, 'Super Bowl snack prep.'

Meanwhile Lionel Richie was taking in the game with his self-styled model daughter Sofia.

The cheeky singer gave a two-fingered salute as he posed with the youngest of his three children, who is most famous for having briefly dated Justin Bieber.

They had organised a spread of Dominos pizza and chicken wings, and were also enjoying Red Bull, colas and beer.
