Joe Giudice lands job in prison gym earning $100 a month while serving 41-month sentence on fraud charges

Joe Giudice has gained a job while serving his 41-month sentence for fraud at a federal prison in New Jersey.

Giudice, 44, has been working at the prison gym and earns about $100 a month, according to an article on Monday by Us Weekly.

The Real Housewives Of New Jersey star has been imprisoned since March 2016 at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix.

He and his reality star wife Teresa, 45, both were sentenced to federal prison stints after pleading guilty in March 2014 to 41 counts of fraud in a deal with federal prosecutors.

Teresa was sentenced in October 2014 to a 15-month sentence that she began serving in January 2015. 

She was released two months early on December 23, 2015.

Joe's sentence was delayed while she served her time so one parent could stay at home to look after their four daughters, Gia, 16, Gabriella, 11, Milania, 10 and Audriana, six.

Teresa after her release returned for season seven of RHONJ that concluded in November.

The season focused on her return from prison and her readjustment to life while preparing for Joe to serve his sentence.

Joe and Teresa lost a Jersey Shore house they bought for $347,000 in 2005 to foreclosure due to their legal problems.

The property was snapped up from the bank last August for just $127,000, according to an article by TMZ.

The house was razed by its new owners who plan on selling the lot.

Joe, who is Italian, faces a possible deportation to Italy after serving his 41-month sentence.
