She sent pulses racing with her raunchy routines during her time in the Pussycat Dolls. 

But despite having been a sex icon across the world, Melody Thornton has revealed she hasn't had a proper boyfriend since being a teenager.

The talented songstress, 32, has admitted she put her personal life on hold to focus on her career but is now more than ready to find love- or more specifically regular sex, on Celebs Go Dating.

Speaking to The Mirror, the American songstress revealed that she only had brief courtships during her time in the band, and is keen to practice being in a relationship.

'I'm just trying to get some regular sex on a regular basis,' the minx admitted.

'I had one serious boyfriend during high school and then I got into the group.I've never lived with anyone.'

Explaining the extent of her ambition further, she explained of the Pussycat Dolls: 'It was the biggest opportunity you'll get in your life, so don't f**k it up by having someone drag you down.' 

The Pussycat Dolls achieved chart-topping success from 2003-2010, producing hits including Don't Cha, Buttons and When I Grow Up.

With lead singer Nicole Scherzinger enjoying an on-off relationship with Lewis Hamilton at the time, and the other girls in serious partnerships, Melody was the odd one out, preferring to focus on her career.

But she hopes this will change during her appearance on British show Celebs Go Dating. 

The first series featured 15 episodes, and saw the likes of Charlotte Crosby, Stephanie Pratt and Joey Essex paired up with ordinary people. 

And the second season, due to air next week, sees Joey return hoping it's second time lucky. 

The TOWIE star has already expressed an interest in Melody, but has admitted cross-star dating isn't allowed on the show.

He will be joined by Hollyoaks actress Jorgie Porter, who revealed she is looking for a 'hairy man'. 

Diversity's Perri Kiely is also looking for love, while Ex On The BEach and Celebrity Big Brother's Stephen Bear is hoping he gets lucky on this reality show. 

Lastly Kim Kardashian's pal Jonathan Cheban is expanding his British reality TV portfolio by also joining the show.

Love gurus Eden Blackman and Nadia Essex will once again send their hopelessly single celebrities on dates with people they wouldn’t ordinarily consider in a bid to find them long-term partners.

Reflecting on her forthcoming appearance on the show, unlucky in love Ferne admitted she was desperate to find love.

'I am so excited to be part of series two of Celebs Go Dating! You've seen some of my highs and lows in relationships but you've never seen me dating,' she said.

'I'm now ready to find my Mr Right and fall in love so I've enlisted the help of Nadia and Eden to help find me a fit guy who can keep me on my toes!'
