  • We are living in a country where women are constantly let down by men as not being equal or men being the superior race. Cinema in India has such a great power that it can influence the people with its thought provoking movies. These days we are seeing a trend of bringing the untold stories of our heroes to the limelight. ‘Dangal’ is another such film based on the life of Mahavir Singh Phogat. He is an Indian Amateur wrestler and senior Olympics coach who trained his daughters, Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari, to be stronger than men and ultimately win in the Commonwealth games. The movie traces the inspirational journey of a father who trains his daughter to become wrestlers.
