The 99 Problems hitmaker certainly dressed up for the occasion, held at the swanky Owlwood Estate, as he arrived in a three-piece suit.

Following a classic style with a clean double-breasted blazer, waistcoat and tailored trousers, the look was then made more striking by its rust hue.

Keeping the look casual however, the rapper layered a plain white T-shirt underneath and left his jacket undone as he relaxed at the bash with a number of high-profile friends.

The gong marks a whopping 64 nominations by the rapper at the awards since 1999, and will be his twenty second win if the song reigns supreme on the night.

However the 2017 ceremony, held at the Staples Center in LA, is made even more exciting by the fact his wife Beyoncé will be performing pregnant for the first time.

The singer, 35, announced the news that she and Jay were expecting twins - their second and third children together - on Instagram last week.

The ethereal snap showed the Crazy In Love star clad in a long veil and surrounded by flowers as she tenderly clutched onto her blossoming bump.

She added an emotional caption which read: 'We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over.

It has since been reported that the pop diva, who is up for a huge nine awards following her album Lemonade, and Jay will be seated front and centre at the bash.

While the hugely successful duo are evidently looking forward to the evening however, several world-renowned artists have decided to give the ceremony a miss - including Kanye West, who features on the song Jay Z is nominated for.

According to TMZ, both the Gold Digger rapper, who is up for eight awards, and singer Justin Bieber, who has four nods at the bash, are planning to skip the show as they believe it has become 'irrelevant'.

'[Justin] just doesn't think the Grammys are relevant or representative, especially when it comes to young singers,' a source told the site last month.
