However on Monday night Drake rung in Valentine's Day without Jennifer Lopez, instead dining with two female pals at London's Novikov ahead of his concerts in the city.

The Hotline Bling singer, 30, was seen with Swedish model twins Elizabeth and Victoria Lejonhjärta- whose surname he had tattooed on his arm last year.

Opting for casual chic in a Stone Island denim jacket, black jeans and Timberland boots, Drake cut a dapper figure.

He was seen in intense conversation with a pal and the twins- who featured in his short film, 'Please Forgive Me,' shot in South Africa last year.

The pretty duo continued the relaxed theme, in Stone Island puffer jackets, trainers and fitted jeans, rocking their trademark dreadlocks.

Leaving in two separate cars following dinner, the group appeared in good spirits.

Last year the twins told W Magazine how they featured in Drake's Views album after he spotted their artisitic flair on Instagram.

And opening up about the rapper getting their surname inked underneath a lion tattoo he has on his arm in October, the duo explained: 'The fact that Swedish media went bezerk on the story about us getting him drunk taught us that not everyone understands even the most flagrant sarcasm.

'We stayed rather reclusive after that. But it's something that will always be a very fond memory and mainly an honor!'.

And it appears the twins remained friends with Drake following the production, speaking highly of the Canadian artist in an interview with Vogue.

'Drake is very hard-working. Watching him on set was inspiring and made us want to work harder.

'For our characters, we were in line from the start with director Anthony Mandler and Drake about what we wanted,' they said.

And Drake appears to think just as highly of the girls, sharing a snap of the pretty duo along with heart and kiss emojis on his Instagram on Monday.

Drake is currently completing the UK leg of his Platinum tour, and was forced to miss the Grammys on Sunday as he was in Manchester.

But the Take Care star will have been in good spirits, as he bagged both the Best Rap Song and Best Rap/Sung Performance gongs for his hit Hotline Bling at the prestigious Grammy Awards.

This comes after rumoured former flame Jennifer Lopez only had good things to say about the rapper while on the red carpet at the Grammy Awards on Sunday.

'Of course. I love Drake,' she said when asked by E! host Ryan Seacrest about him.

'He's so brilliant, talented, amazing.'

'We made a song together. We hung out. We have a great time. He's amazing. I have so much love for that boy.'

They first sent the rumour mill a-spin when Drake was spotted supporting Jennifer's Vegas show twice in December, before the duo shared snaps of each other on Instagram.

The genetically blessed duo were then spotted on a number of romantic dinner dates, with J Lo wearing his chain before he reportedly gifted her with a $100,000 Tiffany's necklace.

But the duo have now reportedly parted ways on good terms, with People reporting that their relationship was 'never very serious.'
