'That was too funny': Justin Bieber taunts fellow Canadian singer The Weeknd again during Instagram chat

Justin Bieber again taunted fellow Canadian singer The Weeknd who has been dating his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.

The 22-year-old Baby singer skipped The Grammys in Los Angeles on Sunday despite being nominated and instead fielded questions on Instagram Live during the show.

Justin was asked to name his current favorite song and he gave a sarcastic reply, according to Seventeen.

'Starboy by The Weeknd,' Justin answered.

After a brief pause, Justin then started laughing for about 15 seconds making clear he was mocking the song. 

'We gotta end it now. That was too funny,' Justin said.

Justin was nominated for a Grammy Award for his single Love Yourself, but skipped the annual awards ceremony at the downtown Staples Center where The Weeknd performed. 

He informed fans that he was instead headed out for a sushi dinner in Los Angeles.

Justin and Selena, 24, dated off and on from late 2010 until 2014 and briefly lived together.

Selena and The Weeknd, 26, started dating recently and were spotted last month kissing outside an Italian restaurant in Santa Monica, California. 

They've since enjoyed a luxurious romantic getaway together in Venice, Italy.

Selena and The Weeknd, real name Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, after the Grammys attended Rihanna's after party together at 1OAK in Los Angeles.

Justin, who is an Ontario native, last month also took a swipe at The Weeknd, who also hails from Ontario.

The Sorry singer was asked by TMZ last month if he'd listen to a song by The Weeknd.

'Hell no I can't listen to a Weeknd song, that's just wack,' Justin replied.

Justin and The Weeknd both rose to fame after posting videos of their music on YouTube.
