The structured black suit was held in place with one button and teased snippets of her sexy vest top underneath.

The Hammersmith born beauty teamed the look with a pair of wide leg trousers and boosted her height in a pair of towering stilettos.

Helen proved to be the ultimate fashionista as she accessorised with a bumbag - a nineties favourite.

The Collateral Beauty star absolutely glowed as she worked her blonde bob and bright red lips.

Helen's husband of nineteen years looked incredibly dapper in a crisp white shirt and grey suit.

The talented star's appearance at the awards comes shortly after the first photos were revealed last week from the set of the Prime Suspect reboot - the show that rocketed Helen's fame 25 years ago on ITV.

The tenacious detective Jane Tennison is back in a new instalment of Lynda La Plante’s Prime Suspect saga; but Helen isn't a part of it.

Instead, the part is being played by Stefanie Martini in the rebooted six-part series.

The drama will show a 22-year-old Tennison battling misogyny at a police station in Hackney, East London.

Ms Martini refused to watch tapes of Dame Helen’s award-winning portrayal before auditioning for the role.

She said: ‘I didn’t want to saturate myself with too much information or become obsessed.’

Author Lynda La Plante quit the Prime Suspect prequel after an alleged row over the portrayal of the early days of her heroine Jane Tennison.

Meanwhile, Helen spoke about being a septuagenarian star in an interview with the AARP's magazine in December.

'The best thing about being over 70 is being over 70. Certainly when I was 45, the idea of being 70 was like, Arghhh!' she said.

'But you only have two options in life: Die young or get old. There is nothing else.'

Helen has two movies out in 2017 - The Fate Of The Furious and The Leisure Seeker.
