Meg Ryan lists SoHo loft for $10.9M... and it's the NINTH home she's renovated

Meg Ryan has carved out an impressive second career in home renovation when no one was looking, and she's now ready to part with her ninth project.

The 55-year-old romantic-comedy queen is selling her 4,100-square-foot co-op in Manhattan's SoHo neighborhood for $10.9M - according to theNew York Post.

The Ithaca filmmaker purchased the impressive Mercer Street property - built in 1884 - for $8M in 2014 from The Simpsons star Hank Azaria.

'I know it sounds crazy to most people, the idea of renovating that many houses,' Meg - born Margaret Hyra - admitted to the mag.

'But I love renovating. I think it's tied to living the actor's life. As an actor, you are so rarely in control. You're always saying words that someone else has given you, standing in a room that someone else has designed, to create a reality that someone else wants to see. 

'But with decorating I am in control; it's a chance for me to bring my vision into the world.'

The three-time Golden Globe nominee's fifth-floor abode boasts 13 oversized windows, eight closets (rather than a walk-in), seven columns, a media room, and a laundry room.

Last month, Deadline reported that the mother-of-two will star in Epix sitcom Picture Paris - based on creator Brad Hall's 2011 short starring his wife Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

The show about empty nesters marks Ryan's first series regular gig since the short-lived ABC Western Wildside way back in 1985.
