A new study has found that British men run the risk of facing a 'fatherhood penalty', as they struggle to hold down demanding, well-paid jobs while taking a greater role in looking after their children. And the Women and Equalities Committee at Parliament is so worried that it has launched a new inquiry into fathers in the workplace. Almost half of fathers surveyed said they would like to downshift into a less stressful job, and millennial fathers said they would be willing to take a pay cut to achieve a better work-life balance.
